PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material feed device and an image formation device using the same which can suppress that a sheet material is peeled off from an attraction belt, and can obtain stable feed performance.SOLUTION: The sheet material feed device includes: a paper feed cassette 11 for containing a loaded sheet bundle 1; an attraction belt 2 which is provided at a position facing to an upper surface of the sheet bundle 1 and performs surface movement; a roller electrode 3 for static electrification for making the attraction belt 2 attract an uppermost sheet 1a of the sheet bundle 1; and a bracket 12 to relatively bring into contact/separate the attraction belt 2 from the sheet bundle 1. In a sheet conveying device 200 for conveying the uppermost sheet 1a attracted by the attraction belt 2 by surface movement of the attraction belt 2, length Lb of the attraction belt 2 in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction is longer than maximum length Ls in a direction perpendicular to a conveying direction of the sheet which can be loaded in the paper feed cassette 11. |
