PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit in which, when an electric wire connected to an outdoor unit terminal part catches fire outside of the machine, danger of the flame coming through an electric wire and reaching a terminal block and inside of an electrical part is reduced.SOLUTION: A communication path of a connection wire is provided from a connection wire insertion port to a terminal block direction at a terminal part cover which covers a terminal block connection opening part. A connection wire pressing part which holds and fixes the connection wire in the vicinity of the connection wire insertion port of the communication path is formed, and on the terminal block side further upward, a connection wire seal part is formed. As closed space is provided between the connection wire pressing part and the connection wire seal part, even when the outdoor unit catches fire outside of the machine, the flame reaches the connection wire pressing part in the vicinity of the connection wire insertion port of the terminal block cover and weakens once, then the flame is smothered and extinguished between the connection wire pressing part and the connection wire seal part. Therefore, the fire does not spread to the space where the terminal block is arranged, and damage to the terminal block, and also to an electrical equipment box, and electrical equipment can be prevented. |
