An objective of the present invention is, when resetting on the basis of a microcomputer operation malfunction determination caused by other than a microcomputer malfunction, to prevent a deposition of heavy current relays. Provided is an electric vehicle control device, comprising: a first microcomputer (11) and a second microcomputer (12) which are disposed with a shared power source, have respective distinct control functions, and which are capable of individually overwriting respective control programs thereof; and a reset processing means for monitoring the mutual microcomputer operations, and, if the microcomputer operation is determined to be a malfunction, for carrying out a reset process which switches off heavy current relays (31, 32) which are in a vehicle-mounted heavy current system. In this electric automobile control apparatus, the reset processing means further comprises an electricity supply interrupt reset unit which, when resetting on the basis of the microcomputer operation fault determination caused by other than the microcomputer malfunction, interrupts the supply of electricity of the vehicle-mounted heavy current system, and carries out a reset process which switches off the strong current relays (31, 32) when the supply of electricity is interrupted. |
