PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus capable of suppressing dispersion in output control results of light irradiated from an optical pickup between an unrecorded state of an optical disk and a recorded state of the optical disk.SOLUTION: An optical disk apparatus 100 includes an optical pickup 1 for irradiating an optical disk 200 with light and detecting light reflected by the optical disk 200 and a control part 8 for performing output control (OPC) of light irradiated from the optical pickup 1 by using a PCA of the optical disk 200. The control part 8, when the optical disk 200 is in an unrecorded state, performs temporary recording in the PCA of the optical disk 200, erases the temporary recording, performs recording for control in the PCA, and then performs output control of light irradiated from the optical pickup 1 by using the recording for control. |
