PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail server and a mail transmission and reception method which can easily enhance security while using an existing mail address.SOLUTION: A mail server 1 comprises: an encryption unit 52 which encrypts a character string included in a local part of a mail address of a transmission source in a transmission target electronic mail; a first replacement unit 53 which replaces the local part of the transmission target electronic mail by the character string encrypted by the encryption unit 52; a decryption unit 55 which decrypts a character string of a local part of a mail address corresponding to a given domain in a destination mail address of a received electronic mail; and a second replacement unit 56 which replaces the local part of the received electronic mail by the character string decrypted by the decryption unit 55. |
