PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cord capable of increasing the safety.SOLUTION: The power cord includes: a plug 1 which has plural plug blades 11 and a temperature sensor 5 that detects the temperature; and disconnection means that shuts off the power supply to a load from the plug blade 11 when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 5 is higher than a predetermined temperature. The plug 1 includes: a core 6 holding the respective plug blades 11 and the temperature sensors 5; and a shell 7 of a synthetic resin molded outside of the core 6. The temperature sensor 5 is embedded in the shell 7 with a part thereof protruding from the core 6. Compared to the case when the temperature sensor 5 is not in contact with the shell 7, the safety is increased. |
