PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a clothing article capable of differentiating characteristics of a waist gather part from fit-gather parts.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the clothing article including a waist gather part 10 and fit-gather parts 11 comprises: a step A of aligning two long composite shrinkable members 2 to be the waist gather part 10 in parallel to each other; a step B of aligning panel materials 3 to be the fit-gather parts 11 on inside ends of the respective composite shrinkable members 2 along the longitudinal direction of the composite shrinkable members 2, and joining them with the inside ends of the composite shrinkable members 3; a step C of laying an absorber 6 across the panel materials between both composite shrinkable members 2 and joining overlapped portions of the panel materials 3 and the absorber 6; and a step D of folding the absorber 6 in half to superpose both composite shrinkable member 2, and cutting both shrinkable members 2 between adjacent absorbers 6 along the orthogonal direction to the longitudinal direction of the composite shrinkable members 2. |
