PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for supplying a proper amount of ink from an ink cartridge to a pen point.SOLUTION: A writing instrument includes: an ink cartridge 2; a pen point 5 receiving the supply of ink from the ink cartridge; an inner cotton 6 provided between the ink cartridge and the pen point; and a supplying pipe 7 inserted in the inner cotton and supplying the ink in the ink cartridge to the pen point through the inner cotton. A supplying pipe body 71 is has a projecting portion 71a inserted in the inner cotton to compress fibers of the inner cotton and partially form a part having high fiber density, on a pen point side end surface. An opening end on the pen point side of a supplying path 71c opens from a projecting portion to a non-projecting portion 71b. |
