PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar secondary battery such that a position shift error on a plane which is caused when a bipolar electrode and a seal material which constitute an electrode sheet as a kind of stack configuration components are stacked can be made as small as possible and when a plurality of electrode sheets are stacked, bipolar electrodes are suppressed from short-circuiting.SOLUTION: A bipolar secondary battery constituted by stacking a bipolar electrode and a seal material is characterized in that the bipolar electrode and the seal material have positioning holes respectively and the bipolar electrode and the seal material are stacked with the positioning holes linked to each other in the stacking direction. The positioning hole of the seal material is set to be smaller in diameter than the positioning hole of the bipolar electrode. An outer periphery of the positioning hole of the seal material is arranged at or inside an outer periphery of the positioning hole of the bipolar electrode.
