PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply facility for a nuclear power plant that extends dischargeable time in emergency.SOLUTION: A DC power supply facility for a nuclear power plant comprises: a battery charger 2 that is connected to a low-voltage bus bar 1 supplying AC power to a DC motor 13 in an electric power station in the nuclear power plant and is supplied with AC power from the low-voltage bus bar 1; a first storage battery 5 connected to an output side of the battery charger 2 through a battery charger output breaker 3 and a first storage battery output breaker 4; a DC main bus-bar board 6 connected to the output side of the battery charger 2 through the battery charger output breaker 3; a DC motor control center 11 that is connected to an output side of the DC main bus-bar board 6 through a DC main bus-bar board output first breaker 7 to supply DC power to the DC motor 13; a second storage battery 9 connected to the DC control center 11 through a second storage battery output breaker 10; and a diode 8 that is provided in a cable run between the DC main bus-bar board output first breaker 7 and the DC motor control center 11 to block the flow of electric current from the second storage battery 9 to the DC main bus-bar board 6.
