PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device, a driving method of the device and electronic equipment capable of performing high-quality display without leakage of light, and to provide a small switch applicable to various types of devices and a production method of the switch.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device is provided, which includes: a liquid crystal layer interposed between a switching element substrate 10 and a counter substrate; and a pixel electrode 35 and a switching element 41 connected to the pixel electrode 35, both disposed on a liquid crystal layer side of the switching element substrate TFT. The switching element 41 is configured to apply an electrostatic force between a fixed electrode 22 and a movable electrode 22 to oscillate the movable electrode 22 in a thickness direction of the substrate, and thereby to switch on or off a connected state between the movable electrode 22 and the pixel electrode 35. |
