[Problem] To reduce the size and cost of a battery. [Solution] A battery for housing a plurality of single cells in a battery container is characterized in that: the battery container is formed from an insulating material, and has a plurality of housing sections for housing each of the single cells and formed by inner-wall sections of the battery container; and the conductive member to be used in connecting the plurality of single cells is implanted inside the wall sections of the battery container. The housing sections contact the outer surfaces of the single cells, and are shaped to match the outer surfaces of the single cells.
