This accumulator operation control device is configured to comprise: a structural degradation index measurement unit which measures a degradation index for each of a prescribed plurality of structures in an accumulator; a degradation state assessment unit which determines a degradation state of the plurality of structures on the basis of the degradation indices which is measured by the structural degradation index measurement unit for each of the plurality of structures; an operation condition determination unit which, on the basis of the degradation state which is assessed by the degradation state assessment unit, determines an operation condition of the accumulator to be a degradation progress state for each of the plurality of structures whereby the lifetime of the accumulator is maximized; and an operation control unit which operates the accumulator according to the operation condition which is determined by the operation condition determination unit.
