The gear box (1) has input shafts (EW1, EW2) i.e. sleeve shaft and solid shaft, representing translation stages by counter shaft gear wheel stages (RR, R1-R6). An output shaft (AW) is arranged on an output shaft axle (6). A counter shaft (VW) represents the translations stages by output gear stages (RA, RB) that are optionally switched into a power flow by a switching device (SE4). The counter shaft is connectable with the output shaft. One of the translation stages is representable by connecting the input shafts with the gear stages, where the counter shaft is switched off from the flow.
