ELECTROLYTE COMPOSITION FOR SECONDARY BATTERY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Disclosed are an electrolyte composition for a secondary battery and a method for producing the same in which stability of the electrolyte composition is improved by preventing a decomposition of organic carbonate used as a solvent of the electrolyte composition. The electrolyte composition for the secondary battery includes a nonaqueous solvent, a lithium salt, and a carbonate compound denoted by chemical formula and a pyridine compound denoted by chemical formula 2 as additives. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are a C1-C2 hydrocarbon radical or a halogenated hydrocarbon radical and are connected to each other in a single bond or a double bond to form a ring structure. In chemical formula 2, X is hydrogen, a cyano group (CN) or a fluorine group (F).
