PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the entire circuit configuration of a battery for running while charging the battery and allowing discharge of the battery in a desirable state.SOLUTION: An electric power unit for vehicles is provided with a battery 1 for running which contains a plurality of cells 10 connected in series and supplies electric power to a running motor 34 of a vehicle and a battery control unit 2 having a voltage detection circuit 6 detecting voltages of the individual cells 10 constituting the battery 1 for running. In the electric power unit, an earth line 9 of the battery control unit 2 is connected to the earth line 41 on the vehicle side, and an insulation part insulated from the earth line 41 on the vehicle side is not provided. |
