PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine with an electronic governor capable of smoothly starting the engine.SOLUTION: In a diesel engine with an electronic governor including a fuel injection pump 1, an electronic actuator 2 and a control device 3, controlling driving of the electronic actuator 2 by the control device 3, and sliding a fuel adjustment rack 4 of the fuel injection pump 1 by driving the electronic actuator 2 to adjust an adjustment position of the fuel adjustment rack 4, the electronic actuator 2 is connected with a drive starting operation device 5 through the control means 3, and the electronic actuator 2 is controlled to be reciprocated and driven by the control device 3 before starting the engine on the basis of that the drive starting operation device 5 is operated to start driving, so that the fuel adjustment rack 4 is reciprocated and slid in the whole stroke from a fuel non-injection position to a maximum fuel injection position by reciprocative driving control of the electronic actuator 2. |
