PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inhibiting human tumor necrosis factor α(TNFα) activity.SOLUTION: A method for inhibiting human TNFα activity comprises bringing human TNFα into contact with an antibody so that human TNFα activity is inhibited. The antibody is an isolated human antibody or antigen binding portion thereof that dissociates from human TNFα with a Kof 1×10M or less and a Krate constant of 1×10sor less, both determined by surface plasmon resonance, and the antibody neutralizes human TNFα cytotoxicity in a standard in vitro L929 assay with an ICof 1×10M or less. |
