PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device that allows a user to control brightness of a projection image when the user enters information to the projection image, and suppresses a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A projection device generates a projection image by projection light, and includes: a detection unit that, when a user performs pointing operation to a projection image projected by the projection device by a pointing device for entering information such as characters and diagrams to the projection image, detects the pointing operation; and a projection control unit that reduces brightness of the projection image when the pointing operation is detected. |
