PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which uses a spinel type lithium manganese oxide as a positive electrode active material, and is superior in lifetime characteristics in a high-temperature environment.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery uses a positive electrode including at least a positive electrode active material, a binder and a thickener. The positive electrode active material is the spinel type lithium manganese oxide, and the binder is olefin resin particles such as polyethylene. A non-fluorine resin such as SBR is used as a binder of a negative electrode, and thereby a capacity retention rate at a high temperature is further improved. |
