摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method of manufacturing 1234yf(2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene) using only an easy-use raw material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes (a) contacting 1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoropropene (1216) with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst to produce 1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoropropane (236ea), (b) dehydrofluorinating 236ea to produce 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropene (1225ye), (c) contacting 1225ye with hydrogen in the presence of the hydrogenation catalyst to produce 1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropane (245eb), and (d) dehydrofluorinating 245eb to produce 1234y. The steps (a) and (c) are conducted in the same reactor with a diluent gas flow containing one or both of 1216 and 1225ye excessively at the same time and each step is conducted in a device made of a material having corrosion resistance.
