The DC generator is intended for producing a direct current without commutation of windings and without the use of sliding contacts. A stator winding (5) with an iron core in the form of an arc (4) is arranged coaxially above the pole of a rotating permanent magnet in the form of a ring (3), which has a slot (6) transverse to the plane of the pole.
