PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device in which within a restricted correction movable range, image shake correction processing based on roll shake, and tilt correction processing for correcting an inclination around an optical axis of the imaging element can be performed appropriately in accordance with a state of the imaging device.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging element for picking up a subject image formed by an optical system so as to obtain an image; a first angle calculation part for detecting an angular velocity of the imaging device so as to calculate a first angle, which is a shake angle of the imaging device; a second angle calculation part for detecting an inclination of the imaging device in an optical axis peripheral direction of the optical system so as to calculate a second angle, which is an angle of the inclination; a rotation correction part for rotating the imaging element or the image on a plane perpendicular to the optical axis in the optical axis peripheral direction; a shake-state quantity calculation part for calculating a shake state quantity of the imaging device on the basis of the fist angle; a correction quantity calculation part for calculating a shake correction quantity and an inclination correction quantity of the imaging device on the basis of the first angle, the second angle, and a shake state quantity; and a driving part for driving the rotation correction part on the basis of the shake correction quantity and the inclination correction quantity of the imaging device. |
