PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant processing agent for polyester fibers which has excellent stability and can impart sufficient flame retardancy with excellent durability to polyester fibers and reduce deterioration of the fastness and hardening of the texture of flame-retardant polyester fiber products obtained.SOLUTION: A flame-retardant processing agent for polyester fibers comprises (A) a polyether compound having an oxyalkylene chain and, at the end, one or more groups selected from sulfonate, phosphonate, carboxylate, alkyl and alkenyl groups and so on and (B) a halogen compound of formula (4), where Yto Yare selected from 2,3-dibromopropyl, 2,3-dibromoisobutyl and 1,2-dibromoethyl groups. |
