PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of an aerator that can perform installation of an aerator to a target position of a bottom of a water reservoir or the like safely and surely.SOLUTION: An installation method of an aerator includes: a process in which a mount 2 having a direction conversion member subject is installed to a water bottom G; a process in which a traction member subject R extending from a traction device to a side of a water bottom G is wound around the direction conversion member subject of a mount 2; a process in which one end of the traction member subject R wound around the direction conversion member subject is connected to an aerator floating to a water surface S; and a process in which the traction member subject R is taken up by the traction device to sink an aerator 1.
