A sealing arrangement for a car door 101 comprises a rubber strip 1 having two sideby-side longitudinally extending compartments 4, 5 filled with air which communicate with one another through a throttling passage 6 and are arranged one each side of the door frame rim 8. The edges of the strip are clipped on to the rim by a clamping strip 9 and may be joined together (Fig. 4) there being sealing and fixing lips on the surfaces of the edge portions which contact the rim; and also on the surface of the strip contacted by the door 101 when closed. A perforated partition may be inserted across the passage 6, the size of the perforations controlling the damping effect produced by the passage 6.
