PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a proximity radio communication method in consideration of a radio communication method based on the conventional carrier sense.SOLUTION: A radio communication device supports at least a second radio communication method between a first radio communication method, in which a decision on a radio medium to be busy when a reception level is minimum reception sensitivity of a physical method or higher, and the second radio communication method. The radio communication device includes a first processor 70, a second processor 40 and a third processor 10. When the second radio communication method is used, the first processor 70 sets a value lower than the maximum transmission power of the first radio communication method to be the maximum transmission power of the second radio communication method, and sets a value higher than the minimum reception sensitivity of the physical method to be a carrier sense level. The second processor 40 performs carrier sense using the carrier sense level. The third processor 10 controls transmission/reception of signals through the second processor 40. |
