PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, a control method thereof, and a program that make it possible to simplify an operation method of zoom imaging and to simultaneously capture an image before zooming and an image after zooming.SOLUTION: Digital zooming is performed through a touch operation with a touch range as the center, and an image before zooming and an image after zooming are simultaneously captured.
