PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent member which has an antireflection function and which achieves high hardness enough to ensure scratch resistance, and a timepiece.SOLUTION: A translucent member 2 includes a base material 11 having translucency. A lamination layer as an antireflection layer 12 which includes layers 12A, 12C containing a silicon nitride and layers 12B, 12D containing a silicon oxide is provided on at least a part of a surface of the base material 11. The content of the silicon nitride is 30-50 vol% in the area from the outermost surface to 150 nm in depth in the lamination layer. An antifouling layer 13 containing a fluorine-containing organosilicon compound is provided on a surface of the lamination layer. |
