PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of improving cycle characteristics, a battery pack using the same, an electronic apparatus, an electric vehicle, a power storage device, and an electric power system.SOLUTION: The secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. Potential of lithium metal reference of the negative electrode at a complete discharge time is 0.4 V or over. The electrolyte includes at least one kind of aromatic compounds of a specific structure.
