<p>This circuit (2) for protecting an electric load (200) powered by a voltage generator (100) against reverse voltage and over-voltage comprises a first switch (4) piloted on the basis of a first voltage difference (V4) representative of a voltage difference (V100) between two output terminals (102, 104) of the voltage generator to selectively open and close a first electric line (L1) which extends between a first terminal (102) of the voltage generator and a first terminal (202) of the electric load. A second switch (8) is piloted on the basis of a second voltage difference (V8) to selectively open and close a second electric line (L2) which extends between a second terminal (104) of the voltage generator and a second terminal (204) of the electric load. A discrete electric component (16) is connected between the first electric line (L4) and a third electric line (L5) connected to the second electric line (L2), this discrete electric component being adapted to block a current (I5) going from the first line (L1) to the third electric line (L5) when the voltage difference (V100) between the two output terminals of the voltage generator is below a preset value and to allow this current (I5) to flow from the first electric line to the third electric line (L5) when the voltage difference is above the preset value. A third switch (12) is piloted to make the second voltage difference (V8) equal to zero when a current (I5) flows through the one way discrete electric component from the first electric line (L1) to the third electric line (L5).</p> |
