STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTING RIMS AND BOWS OF GLASSES

The present invention relates to a structure for connecting rims and bows of glasses made of a thin metal sheet, and more particularly to a means for preventing the leading end part of the bows from moving so as to stabilize wearing of the glasses, thus improving the reliability of the glasses. An object of the present invention is to provide an improved structure for connecting the rims and bows of glasses, which prevents the leading end part of the bows foldably connected to the rim from moving horizontally and vertically when folded and spread, thereby improving comfort and reliability. In order to achieve the object of the present invention, the glasses according to present invention include: rim (30) formed of a thin metal sheet for mounting lenses (1); end plates (31) integrally formed with both sides of the rim (30) and bent backward, the end plate (31) being foldably connected to the leading end part of a bow (40); a plate spring (32) formed by cutting the middle part of the end plate (31) at a given length and width; a first locking offset (a) formed by bending the rear end part of the plate spring; a second locking offset (b) formed in the middle of the end plate (31) upward and downward of the plate spring (32) a little more forwardly from the first locking offset (a); a fastening hole (d) formed in the middle of the leading end part of the bow (40) for receiving the end of the plate spring (32); and a protrusion (41) formed in the leading end of the bow, wherein the protrusion (41) is snuggly inserted in the slot of the end plate (31) formed by cutting the plate spring (32) so as to restrain the bow from moving upward and downward, thereby stabilizing the bows by preventing the bows from being displaced when folded or spread and improving the reliability of the glasses.
