PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simplification of a circuit structure, reduction in manufacturing cost, improvement of efficiency, and downsizing of a device in a power-supply device having a power-factor improvement function.SOLUTION: A power-supply device 10 includes a rectifier circuit DB1, a power-factor improvement circuit 1, a DC/DC converter 2, and a control section 3 controlling the power-factor improvement circuit 1 and the DC/DC converter 2. The power-factor improvement circuit 1 includes a first series circuit composed of a first rectifier element D1 and a first switching element Q1, a reactor L1, and a smoothing capacitor C1. The DC/DC converter 2 includes the first series circuit, a second series circuit composed of a second rectifier element D2 and a second switching element Q2, and a transformer T1. A primary coil Lp of the transformer T1 has one end connected to a connection point between the first switching element Q1 and the first rectifier element D1 and has the other end connected to a connection point between the second switching element Q2 and the second rectifier circuit D2. |
