PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate imaging using an AF function.SOLUTION: A drive range acquisition part acquires the drive range of a lens. A detection part detects a distance between the present position of the lens and the focusing position of the lens for each of a plurality of detection areas in an image generated by the lens. An in-drive-range area determination part determines whether or not the focusing position is within the drive range in each of the plurality of detection areas, based on the detected distance and the present position. A display control part allows a display part to display in-range information for indicating whether or not the focusing position is within the drive range in each of the plurality of detection areas.
