PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protection airbag device which can be easily fitted in a vehicle body-side fitting region and stably protect a passenger with an airbag having expanded.SOLUTION: An airbag 19 includes an expansion shield part 21 which covers an in-cabin side of a window when having expanded, and a plurality of fitting parts 36 which project upward on the side of an upper edge 21a of the expansion shield part 21 and are arranged in a front-rear direction. A reinforcement member 42 is arranged in an upper edge-side region 32 on the side of the upper edge 21a of the expansion shield part 21. The reinforcement member 42 has higher rigidity than a base material forming the airbag 19, and is formed into a long shape having its longitudinal direction substantially along the front-rear direction and arranged in a mutually separate state in a region including two adjacent fitting parts 36 at two places at least below the fitting parts 36. The length of the reinforcement member 42 along the front-rear direction is set to be larger than the front-rear-directional width of the fitting part 36 positioned above the reinforcement member 42. |
