PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an operation method of a water purification apparatus provided with a power generation apparatus, the method making it possible to easily use an acid component derived from the power generation apparatus as a pH adjusting agent for water to be treated (raw water) in the water purification apparatus, and thus to improve profitability; and to provide such a water purification apparatus provided with a power generation apparatus.SOLUTION: Acidic water generated in a process for humidifying air in between air intake to a compressor of a gas turbine and supply of compressed air to a combustion chamber, or acidic water obtained by recovering moisture in a gas turbine exhaust gas is used as a pH adjusting agent for water to be treated in a water purification apparatus. For example, drain water obtained in spray cooling of intake air of the gas turbine or concentrated water thereof, or circulation water of a humidifier for a gas turbine to use high humidity air is used for pH adjustment. |
