PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in which generation of distortion such as a secondary harmonic distortion is remedied without providing a switching circuit.SOLUTION: There is provided the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in which an ultrasonic probe 201 incorporating at least one ultrasonic transducer 202 and an impedance transformation circuit 203 connected to the ultrasonic transducer, and an apparatus body 205 including a transmission circuit and a reception circuit are connected to each other. In the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, a pseudo-load circuit 100 having a load current characteristics of a reverse characteristics to a load current characteristics of the impedance transformation circuit 203 with respect to a positive-polarity and negative-polarity transmission signal is provided on an input side of the ultrasonic probe 201 or on an output side of the apparatus body 205. |
