PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator apparatus that determines the presence or absence of necessity of a service, adapting to an aged person, a physically handicapped person and the like, with a high degree of accuracy.SOLUTION: An elevator apparatus 100 includes: a cage 151; a door 152; a hall button 104; a human detection sensor light-emitting element 111; a human detection sensor light-receiving element 112; and a control unit. The human detection sensor light-emitting element 111 and the human detection sensor light-receiving element 112 are provided in the door 152. The control unit determines the presence or absence of necessity of a service by a pattern in which a user blocks an optical axis 113 generated between the human detection sensor light-emitting element 111 and the human detection sensor light-receiving element 112. |
