PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor which can be downsized without degradation of measurement accuracy.SOLUTION: In a current sensor (101) including a current path (12) having a U shape and a plurality of magnetoresistive effect elements (13) for detecting a magnetic field, the U shape comprises a base (12k) and arms (12a and 12b) extending from both end sides of the base (12k), and the plurality of magnetoresistive effect elements 13 (13A and 13B) are disposed so as to face the U shape. At least one of the plurality of magnetoresistive effect elements (13) is provided on one arm (12a), and at least one of them is provided on the another arm (12b), and the magnetoresistive effect element (13A) provided on the arm (12a) is located outside of a center (center line WCA) of a width (WD) of the arm (12a), and the magnetoresistive effect element (13B) provided on the arm (12b) is located outside of a center (center line WCB) of a width of the arm (12b). |
