PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an image display device while securing an operation margin and preventing erroneous display even when a delay time of a gate line driving signal is increased.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 200 includes: a controller 110 which generates a vertical-direction start pulse sty for driving a gate line driving circuit 30 and clock signals clk and /clk; and a gate line deactivation transition detection circuit 90 which activates a detection signal GOFF for a certain period at the timing of deactivation of each of a plurality of gate lines GL. The controller 110 includes: a delay time measurement counter 113 which measures a delay time of the detection signal GOFF relative to a latch signal LP for updating a display signal held in a data latch circuit; and a timing controller 112 which shifts the activation timing of the gate clocks clk and /clk and the vertical-direction start signal sty by the delay time. |
