An illumination module (100) includes a plurality of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) (102a, 102b, 102c). Multiple color conversion cavities (160a, 160b, 160c) are present, each with sidewalls (161) coated with wavelength converting materials (162,16,165). One or more LEDs are located within each color conversion cavity. A transmissive layer (134) may be deposited over the color conversion cavities and may include additional wavelength converting material (163). The wavelength converting materials may be selected to produce an output light with target color point. Additionally, a secondary light mixing cavity (170) may be present over the multiple color conversion cavities. |
