<p>This invention provides an image display device, an image display method, a program, and a microscope system that make it possible to easily and reliably select and display a specific microscope observation image. The image display device, which displays images captured by a microscope, is provided with: a sample recognition unit for reading identification information of a pathology specimen to be observed; and a sample information acquisition unit for sending the identification information read by the sample recognition unit to an information processing device, and acquiring information pertaining to the pathology specimen to be observed from the information processing device.</p> |
