An eletromagnetic diaphragm pump comprises an electromagnet, an oscillator vibrating along with changes of polarities of the electromagnet, a diaphragm arranged on an end portion of the oscillator, and a first clamping part and a second clamping part which are used for clamping the periphery of the diaphragm. The periphery of the diaphragm is provided with a rib portion that protrudes perpendicularly relative to a first diaphragm surface. The first clamping part is provided with a recessed portion used for accommodating the rib portion. The second clamping part is provided with a push and press surface used for pushing and pressing a second diaphragm surface, with no rob portion, of the diaphragm. The push and press surface of the second clamping part is equipped with a first push and press convex portion and a second push and press convex portion, wherein the first push and press convex portion has a bent cross section and the second push and press convex portion has a cross section shaped like an acute angle. The first push and press convex portion is disposed on an much inner side than the second push and press convex portion. The first push and press convex portion is formed to be fully included in an area occupying by a basal portion of the rib portion or to overlap a part of the area or to fully include the area occupying by the basal portion of the rib portion. The periphery of the diaphragm can be firmly maintained. |
