PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an adaptive streaming technique using DASH, for use for broadcast distribution and multicast distribution.SOLUTION: A content supply device for supplying streaming data of a content according to the adaptive streaming technique includes: an HTTP distributor for filing the streaming data segment-by-segment and for performing HTTP distribution of each segment file thus obtained through a bidirectional communication network; a multicast distributor for multicast distributing the segment file; and a meta-file generator for generating a meta-file having described information to receive the segment file of the HTTP distribution or the multicast distribution. The present disclose is applicable to a system for content streaming distribution. |
