PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ingestible event marker system.SOLUTION: An ingestible event marker (that is, IEM) system includes an ingestible event marker and an individual signal receiver. The IEM includes an identifier, and the identifier may exist on physiologically allowable carrier or not exist thereon. The identifier operates on contact with a target interior physiological region of a body such as alimentary interior target region. The individual signal receiver is associated with a physiological site such as the interior of a body or a body, and configured to receive a signal from the IEM. In use, the IEM broadcasts a signal received by the individual signal receiver.
