PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train communication system capable of reducing management load associated with change of settings on the ground side when a communication device on a train is replaced.SOLUTION: An on-train system 1 comprises an on-train communication control device 2. In a case where a ground system 5 comprises a communication control server 8 and a train control terminal 9, when the on-train communication control device 2 initially starts up on a train after a replacement, the on-train communication control device 2 transmits a start-up notice containing a unit number and a train number of the train on which it is installed, and its address information to the communication control server 8. The communication control server 8 changes registration information regarding the train unit number, train number and address according to the start-up notice. When data generated by the train control terminal 9 and required for controlling a target train to be controlled is transmitted from the ground system 5 to the on-train communication control device 2 on the target train, the address registered on the communication control server 8 is used. |
