PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an olivine type phosphate compound the electron conductivity and ionic conductivity of which are enhanced and the structure of which is restrained from being changed by a charge/discharge operation.SOLUTION: The method for producing the phosphate compound comprises the steps of: heating and melting a raw materia formulation containing, in terms of oxides, 20-35 mol% of LiO, 20-35 mol% of PO, 35-55 mol% of MnO, FeOequal to or higher than 0 mol% and less than 10 mol%, CoOequal to or higher than 0 mol% and less than 8 mol%, NiO equal to or higher than 0 mol% and less than 15 mol%, and 0.05-10 mol% of at least one selected from the group consisting of MgO, ZnO, CaO, ZrO, and TiOto obtain a molten product; cooling the molten product to obtain a solidified product: crushing the solidified product to obtain a crushed product; and heating the crushed product to obtain particles each containing crystals each having an olivine structure. |
