PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device and an analog electronic watch which are caused to display notification information in a comprehensible fashion to a user while quickly switching the information.SOLUTION: The information display device includes: a first rotating plate formed of a translucent member or a translucent reflection member; a display plate having a display window for causing a part of the rotating plate to be exposed; a second rotating plate disposed below the first rotating plate; rotation control means for controlling the first rotating plate and the second rotating plate; an illumination body for illuminating a part corresponding to the display window of the second rotating plate from below; and lighting control means for controlling lighting of the illumination body. The first rotating plate includes a display part which is formed of a translucent member or a translucent reflection member, the material of which is different from the material of the first rotating plate, and which displays each of a plurality pieces of information. The second rotating plate includes light transmission parts corresponding to the plurality pieces of information respectively. The lighting control means enables information on the display part to be read through the display window by lighting out the illumination body, and enables information corresponding to the light transmission part to be read through the display window by lighting the illumination body. |
