Provided are: an image processing device capable of enhancing parallax without any excess or deficiency; an imaging device; an image processing method; and an image processing program. An image processing unit determines an input/output function (f) for each pixel to be processed in a left-eye image and a right-eye image during a step (410). When determined to fall within the parallax range for which focusing verification is possible (Step 412: Y), the input/output function (f) converts the input parallax calculated in a step (408) to a parallax such that it is possible to identify the input parallax as being within the parallax range for which focusing verification is possible, and when determined not to fall within the parallax range for which focusing verification is possible (Step 412: N), the input/output function (f) converts the input parallax calculated in the step (408) to a parallax such that it is possible to identify the input parallax as not being within the parallax range for which focusing verification is possible. |
