This portable terminal has: a detecting unit (30) which detects the facing direction and the moving direction of a portable terminal (1); a vibrating unit (40) which generates vibration corresponding to the facing direction and the moving direction detected by means of the detecting unit (30); and a control unit (50) which performs operations corresponding to the facing direction and the moving direction detected by means of the detecting unit (30).
